Postpartum is a sacred time for recovery, rest, and healing after birth. In many cultures—such as Colombia, throughout Latin America, and across Asia—it is tradition to honor the “forty days of rest.” This period is devoted to restoration, nourishment, and processing the birth experience. Yet in today’s world, with the pace of busy lives, limited maternity leave, and fewer families living communally, these traditions have become harder to uphold. Too often, new mothers are left feeling isolated and without the support they truly need.
As your doula, I intend to nurture and empower your healing process during the first forty days after birth. My role is to help you rest deeply, bond with your newborn, and feel cared for in a time when you are giving so much of yourself. Consider me part of your fourth-trimester support team—I’ll keep the focus on you, sustaining your energy and easing the weight of daily demands so you can recover with greater ease.
I provide warming, restorative, whole-food, plant-based meals that are tailored to your individual needs. These meals are prepared in your home and left for you to enjoy throughout the week, with an emphasis on nourishment, balance, and low-waste practices.
Every family’s needs are different, so my services are flexible and designed around you.
